Welcome to Universal Rome Resort
Ciao! The name is Mason Marker, and this is my version of a new type of resort in Italy, a new addition to the Universal theme park chain. This would be the first foreign Universal park to not be in Asia, and the first (and perhaps only) one in Europe. However, this is not the type of Universal park you are used to. While it still aims to create the ultimate vacation experience for guests, it is a little more family-focused than other parks and is closer to the parks of Disney in layout. Like Universal Orlando, this place consists of two theme parks and several hotels.
Here's a bit on what we have:
- Theme Parks:
- Universal Studios Rome
- Universal's Seas of Experiences
- Districts:
- Porto Universal
- Hotels:
- Universal Rome Hotel
- Universal's Cabana Bay Hotel
- Universal's Great Victorian Hotel
- Universal's Western Hotel
- Universal's Venetian Hotel
- Universal's Adventurer's Lodge
- Universal's Hit Century Hotel
I was originally going to have this be in Britain. This was because of some thoughts I had with the mayor of London criticizing the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in the United States because Americans were having fun with a British invention and not the British themselves. However, I quickly realized that it would be cold in Britain, so I decided to move it somewhere warmer. I didn't want it in France because it would compete with Disneyland Paris. Instead, I decided to put it in Rome (although I had a Disney park there too, but that's fine by me since it's not official.) In this way, Europeans can still get to this and there will be no competition. I decided to have the main park in a Magic Kingdom-style layout after mom told me she liked it better than how most Universal parks were laid out. So a lot of the things here are owned by Universal, but a lot of things are also licensed from other companies such as Sony, Warner Bros., Paramount, and Nintendo. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is featured in this resort with both Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley, although due to personal reasons, Fantastic Beasts will not be featured.

I love the name Seas of Experiences. Is there already a park with that name or is it original? I’m glad you are including HP too.
