Jumanji River Delta

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to enter a video game world? Well, this is where you can. Welcome to Jumanji, a lost jungle world where you can embark on many adventures. Inspired by the 2017 film Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and its 2019 sequel, this is where you can live on the wild side.

Coming in from Astoria, you are immediately immersed in a jungle setting. If you keep going, you will find Seaplane McDonough's Hangar Bay, a restaurant. If you cross a bridge, you will approach the iconic Jaguar statue from the film and find a bridge to Middle Earth. If you stay to the side you were on before, you will find a Bazaar recreating that from the film, where you can fine at Jumanji Berry Juice, Bazaar Bites, and Get your Rasthers (Rashters are the cake sold by the merchant in the film, which Fridge as Moose Finbar (played by Kevin Hart) eats and explodes.) You can also find shopping at The Missing Piece and Switchblade's Souvenirs.
Near the Jaguar Statue are a bunch of ruins. Here, you can ride Jumanji: Run through the Jungle, a jeep simulator ride where you travel deep through the ruins and the jungle, facing off with wild animals, mercenaries, and booby traps. Nearby is a gift shop, Nigel's Temple Treasures. If you keep on going, you will find another bridge that goes to the bazaar. Keep going past that and you will go into Madagascar.
Near the bazaar is a huge, icy mountain. Here you can ride a roller coaster called Castle Mines, where you ride through the mines beneath Jurgen the Brutal's castle. This roller coaster goes forwards and backwards and features several new types of visual effects. Nearby is Castle Banquet Hall. Plunder Patch is a nearby gift shop. Keep on going and you will cross a bridge to Madagascar.

Although this focuses mainly on the modern-day Jumanji films, there are still references to the original 1995 film. In the shops, there are actually models of the original board game. However, the more modern films have gained more popularity so this is what the land is based off of. The Run through the Jungle ride is similar to the Indiana Jones Adventure at Disney theme parks, and this jeep up here is what the vehicles would look like.

Jumanji is licensed from Sony.

  1. So fun! I love Jumanji and I’d love to see this area. It’d be cool to maybe have a seaplane ride as well.
