The Wizarding World of Harry Potter--Hogsmeade

 

There is a place where magic lives, where anything can happen with the flick of a wand, where witches and wizards can grab a snack or two. This is Hogsmeade, the only non-Muggle settlement in Britain and a cozy snow-draped village where magic is strong. Plus, this is right next to Hogwarts castle, the famous wizard school, where you might learn something or embark on thrilling adventures.

As you walk in from the hub, you are immersed in a forested area. Keep going down the path and you will find the Hogwarts Express--Hogsmeade Station, which will take you to London in Universal's Seas of Experiences. Here is also where you may find a Ford Anglia somewhere.
Keep on going and you will enter Hogsmeade village. Here, you can shop at Honeydukes, Gladrag's Wizard Ware, Zonko's Joke Shop, Dervish and Banges, Owl Post, and don't forget to get your wand at Ollivander's. You can also eat at The Three Broomsticks and The Hog's Head. You can also fill up on Butterbeer at several Butterbeer Carts throughout the village. Around here on a stage is where the Triwizard Spirit Rally and the Singing Toad Choir perform.

As you go further northwest, you will go to the castle grounds going south of that takes you to Enchanted lands. Up in the most northwestern part of the area is Hogwarts castle, where you can explore Hogwarts on Hogwarts Explorations or go on an unforgettable journey over the grounds on Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, which exits into Filch's Emporium of Confiscated Goods. To the north is a pathway to the Great Lake, past which lies Production Central. Along the way, you will find two roller coasters. Near Hagrid's hut is a family coaster, Flight of the Hippogriff, while further on in the Forbidden Forest is Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, which copies the original Islands of Adventure Attraction.

Being a Potterhead myself (I am a Ravenclaw), it was impossible for me to make Universal and not include Harry Potter. However, I wanted to make this Hogsmeade more exploratory than most of its counterparts. Sure, you get to go past replicas of film sets while in line of the Forbidden Journey, but you don't get to explore it too much. I also may have forgotten to mention, but the stone circle, whomping willow, and the Shrieking Shack all make appearances here. Within Hogwarts Explorations are a bunch of recreations of Hogwarts as seen in the films, featuring clones of props and even some real props borrowed from Warner Bros. and Heyday films. Also, you can go by the Great Lake, and if you're patient enough, you might see tentacles coming out, a reference to the giant squid in the books.

    I’m glad you explained Hogwarts Explorations since I hadn’t heard of that one before. That’s such a fun Idea for true fans!

Jumanji River Delta

  Have you ever wondered what it would be like to enter a video game world? Well, this is where you can. Welcome to Jumanji, a lost jungle world where you can embark on many adventures. Inspired by the 2017 film Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and its 2019 sequel, this is where you can live on the wild side. Coming in from Astoria, you are immediately immersed in a jungle setting. If you keep going, you will find Seaplane McDonough's Hangar Bay, a restaurant. If you cross a bridge, you will approach the iconic Jaguar statue from the film and find a bridge to Middle Earth. Mythical Ocean

If so, come here to this crater within Mount Mythos, the icon of the park, where your trials await.
