Sci-Fi City

If you are looking for a world of the future, look no further than here. In this science fiction world of tomorrow, we've got several adventures for you. Aliens, robots, space voyagers, time travelers, you name it. If you want an epic science fiction world then this is the place for you.

As you walk in from the hub, you will be immersed in a futuristic city-like area. In the center of it is a big dome-shaped building, and around it is a lake. When you first come in, you will find Star Spinners, a family ride, near the entrance. Behind it is a takeout restaurant, Star Diner. On the left side of the area is E.T. Adventure, an extended version of the Orlando ride, which exits into E.T.'s Toy Closet. On the right side of the area is Star Trek Experience, based off of the J.J. Abrams trilogy, where you get to co-pilot the Starship Enterprise. The ride exits into Star Fleet Station a gift shop. Inside the dome itself is a roller coaster, Super Mario Galaxy: Star Blast, where you go on a space adventure and battle aliens with a spinning coaster that shows you all the action. The ride exits into Rosalina's Star Store. Also in the dome is Observatory Kitchen, where you dine on a recreation of the Comet Observatory.
South of the dome is a big station designed to look like its from the 1980s. This houses Back to the Future: Race through Time, a ride similar to Disney's Radiator Springs Racers where you travel through time on Delorians. Near the attraction is Doc's Emporium.

To the north of the dome near Wild World are two things. On the left is Taste of Tomorrow, a restaurant, while on the right is Transformers: Battle for the Allspark, where you fight alongside the Autobots to keep the Allspark out of the hands of the Decepticons. The ride exits into Autobot Supply.
Finally, the the west of the dome is a world's fair-resembling area based on the 1964 New York World's Fair. This contains a single attraction, Men in Black: Alien Attack, a modified version of the Orlando attraction where you battle aliens. The attraction exits into MIB Store. Alien Appetizers is also around here.

In my opinion, this is every sci-fi nerd's playground. I mean, you got four sci-fi film franchises and several references to other movies within the area. For example, Star Diner has some references to ALF and Morg and Mindy. To be honest, I feel like this area has the most immersive experiences in the park. I had trouble laying out the area, but I think I did all right.

  1. I think this area is great. Grandpa Dave would love it. He must be a sci-fi nerd. The more immersive, the better for him. I’d be super interested in seeing the Mario stuff. Then we wouldn’t have to go to Nintendo world to experience it.
