Mythical Ocean
Do you have what it takes to challenge the sea? Are you ready to encounter the great beings of the sea, the heroes, the monsters, maybe even the gods themselves? If so, come here to this crater within Mount Mythos, the icon of the park, where your trials await. Prepare yourself, mortal, for this is where you will find your greatest experience of all.........but we'll cover that later.
If you cross the bridge from Berk, you will come into some Greek ruins. This is where you can find two experiences: Odysseus's Stunt Show and Poseidon's Fury. The former is an original stunt show while the latter is a clone of the Islands of Adventure attraction. You can eat at Fire Eaters, or you can enter the crater of Mount Mythos.
In the crater, you will find a lagoon with a big fountain. The crater is a small location, but it houses two of the park's most immersive attractions. Voyage to the Lost City is a submarine ride where you travel to Atlantis but encounter sea monsters and merfolk along the way. Trials of Olympus is a fully immersive trackless ride where you go on a random journey through a temple and are tested by the gods at every turn. Vulcan's Metals and Atlantis Gifts are gift shops while Mythos is a restaurant. You can exit the crater from the opposite end from where you entered and return to English Harbor.

I have done something like this before with Grand Disneysea's Greek Mythology area. However, it was not as immersive as this. I thought of including Percy Jackson in this, but the series was only successful as a book series and not so much as a film series. I decided to just have it as Greek Mythology and keep it there, deciding to create original stories (something Universal doesn't do often) instead of having this based off of something else. Mythos, which has been the claimed-to-be-best themed restaurant in Universal's Islands of Adventure, is featured here in Mount Mythos, the icon of the park.

It’d be cool to have a bunch of aquariums in this area. I don’t know if that’s practical or not for a theme park, but it’d sure add to the ambience. Smart choice on Percy Jackson. You are right that the films were not as successful.
