Isle of Berk
Come forth, dragon riders! Come to the isle of Berk, an ages-old viking settlement where vikings and their foes-turned-friends reside. Here, you can set off on many adventures, including one where you can ride on the back of a dragon and fly over Berk itself!
At the end of the path from Madagascar, you enter a viking village recreating the one from the How to Train Your Dragon trilogy. Around the village, you can engage in shopping with the Blacksmith's Shop, Chief's Choice Souvenirs, and Traders of Berk and dining in the Viking Tavern and The Great Hall. Then, up near the mountain, you can embark on a thrilling but gentle adventure with Hiccup and the Dragon Riders on How to Train Your Dragon: Flight of the Night Fury. The ride exits into Gobber's Viking Supplies. For riders of any height, you can find Viking Boat Swing and Dragon Spin by the docks. You can also cross a bridge over to Mythical Ocean from here.

It's about time that How to Train Your Dragon made it into the parks. I mean, I've had this idea for a ride where you are riding dragons over Berk, but I haven't gotten too far on it. In my eyes, it would look like Disney's Avatar Flight of Passage where you are riding on a motion simulator that is supposed to make you feel like you are flying. By the way, the trilogy has significance to Universal and Dreamworks since the series is critically acclaimed (despite the fact that they do not follow the books) and the last film was actually Dreamworks' first film under Universal's leadership. It would make practical sense to make this an area for their parks.

This is amazing! I can’t believe it hadn’t been added to any parks yet! The idea of riding dragons over Berk sounds awesome! Especially if it’s like avatar. I can imagine how beautiful of an area this would be!
