English Harbor

To begin your epic nautical adventure, come across the pond to the docks of 1960s London. Here, you can find a great collection of dining, shopping, and entertainment, and maybe a few attractions. You may even find some random pop culture references around the place.

You enter the area through a hotel, Universal's Great Victorian Hotel. On the other side, you find a town square. In the center is a park with a sword in the stone. On the right is Experience Hall, where you can get help and services, and on the left is Oceans of Experiences Co., the largest store in the park. You will go down a street with Cinnabon, Sailor Sampson's, Royal Traders, and The Beatles Shop on the left and The Christmas Shoppe, Rock and Roll Store, Fish and Ships, and Paddington Place.
At the end of the street is a amphitheater where you can watch water parades daily. To the left is another street facing the docks. Along the street is Pop Shop and British Bites. At the end of the street, it makes a turn to Mythical Ocean, but as it does, you pass a freighter ship.

If you go right from the theater, you walk past a recreation of the Tower of London. Inside is James Bond: Duel of the Agents, a motion simulator where you fight a new enemy with James Bond. The ride exits into Q's Emporium. On the other side near a TARDIS is Doctor Who: Revenge of the Daleks, a next-generation blaster adventure where you and the Doctor travel through time while fighting the Dalek robots. This ride exits into the Time Lord Traders store. Past here is a recreation of the Tower Bridge, which goes to the London area of Diagon Alley.

This is the ultimate celebration of British pop culture in my opinion. Although Harry Potter is included in its own area, this area has all things that Britain's media has become known for. I mean, you got The Beatles, James Bond, Paddington, Doctor Who, and titles such as Downton Abbey included in the shops. There are also several references to other British pop culture throughout the area, and those who look close enough just may find it. I was going to include Titanic in the area, but I felt like that would be controversial to the PG-rated image of this resort due to some elements.

  1. What a cool area! Was it your idea to do British pop culture? That’s super fun for all those London lovers out there.
