Classic Street

When passing in through the main gates, you will find yourself in Hollywood circa 1912 (which is actually when Universal was founded.) This recalls the days when the film industry was booming in the west. From here, you will go forth on several exciting adventures, all from a central hub. You may even find a dazzling collection of shopping, dining, and entertainment here.

After walking through the gate and going through checkups and security, you will enter a town square, designed to look like Los Angeles in the 1910s. In the center is a park where the Fabulous Five, a bunch of musicians, play. On the right is City Hall, where you can get help and services. On the left is Universal Studios Store, which contains merchandise themed to everything in the park. Around here, you can also hop on a Cable Car or Horse-Drawn Carriage and ride it to the hub. Parades usually start off down here and then go to the hub, finishing by going through Production Central.
If you go down the street, you will find several engaging shops and restaurants. On the left, you will find Jules Brulatour's Jewelry, 1912 Movie Street, Chaplin and Marx's Comedy Shop, Swanson's Steakhouse, and Studio Sandwiches. On the right, you will find Laemmle, Baumann, and Kessel's Clothing, Los Angeles Candy Co., Hollywood Hills House, Cable Car Curiosities, and Horsley's Hamburgers.

At the end of the street, you will find a hub. In the center of the hub is a lake where the Universal globe spins. From this hub are five bridges to the five other areas, which are (clockwise from the left) Enchanted Lands, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter--Hogsmeade, Production Central, Wild World, and Sci-Fi City. This is also where you can watch the nighttime spectacular.

This is supposed to be the "Main Street" of the area. It does not have any big rides or anything, just a place for you to shop and dine and get help. I also made a tribute to Universal's early days here by giving it the 1910s Hollywood setting, and I also named Swanson's Steakhouse, Horsley's Hamburgers,  Jules Brulatour's Jewelry, and Laemmle, Baumann, and Kessel's Clothing after some of Universal's founders. This place does have a big nighttime show around the icon of the park, the globe, at night, but we will get to that later.

  1. I like how you used the names of the founders in your restaurants and shops. What a great way to pay tribute to them!
